DONNA
LEIGHTON
My practice is the act of remembering. I sometimes use a mathematical process I call breeding squares as a tool for recollection. It is deliberately difficult to engage with it via digital media. The mathematical element has also led me into nature table recollection with the realisation that an important element of the weekly display referenced fibonacci.
I was born in Harlow in Essex. After 8 years living and working in London I recently relocated to Sussex. I exhibit regularly and my work is held in international private collections.
